A Sous Chef is required to join this professional and talented brigade in this 2AA Rosette Hampshire Hotel.
This award winning Hampshire Hotel is a quintessentially English luxury Country House Hotel set in over 100 acres of stunning countryside on the edge of the New Forest National Park but just moments away from the coastline.
The kitchen uses a fabulous variety of vegetables, fruit, herbs and edible flowers which are harvested each year from the Walled Kitchen Garden and Nursery.
This hotel has 70 rooms and suites along with a 2AA Rosette restaurant where the menuoffers dishes typically English to the totally cosmopolitan, with the Executive Head Chef and his talented brigade creating fine dining ata high standardusing fresh, locally sourced produce.
As Sous Chef you will be responsible for running a section within the kitchen and assisting the Head & Snr SousChef in leading, motivating and developing the existing team and catering for the restaurant and busy wedding and function trade. You will also be required to ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard, and complies with food safety regulations and to supervise, train and motivate the team to achieve company standards.

Qualification/Experience:
You will require previous experience at 2 rosette level in a similar high quality establishment, this is essential. You will also be a good team player, who has the ability to cope under pressure and you must have excellent man management skills. You will also require NVQ Level 1 & 2 qualifications or equivalent qualification and a passion and flair towards food.
