This friendly award winning boutique hotel has 15 bedrooms, 250 cover restaurant and you will be using all fresh locally sourced produce and managing a kitchen brigade of 6.
With an excellent reputation and strong community following, the many visitors by car, sea or air travel are always very welcome.
My client is looking for a passionate Head Chef who wants to make a name for themselves with a starting date of February 2017.
There are other vacancies available within the hotel should you wish to relocate with a work colleague, partner or friend.
Duties of the job
Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and excellent presentation.
Ensure stock levels are efficient for the restaurant and all preparation have been completed on time
Manage the kitchen cleanliness.
Upkeep the excellent reputation of the business
Marketing ideas to promote and welcome new business from further afield
Menu writing.
To have attention to detail at all times.
Recruiting of staff and overseeing.
What we need from you
To be from an all fresh background.
Experience working with seafood is essential
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Be able to maintain a high and professional service.
Have good motivational skills and team management.
Adhere to strict hygiene control throughout the kitchen.
To be good with managing budgets and negotiating costs with suppliers.
Responsible for stock and cost control along with achieving GP and budgets.
Salary up to £35,000 + tips, Live in accommodation is available
