Head Chef required for a prestigious 4* 2 Rosette Hotel located in Merseyside
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Head Chef with a great eye for detail and presentation for this stunning 4 star hotel.
The site boasts a stylish and fresh menu, which requires the touch of a passionate Head Chef and willing to offer from £35,000 for the right candidate.
This stunning Hotel has 63 beautiful bedrooms, 60 seat 2 rosette restaurant and you will be managing a kitchen brigade of 6.You will work closely with the Executive Chef but will have autonomy over menu creation.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will be ensuring that standards are maintained and achieved as good kitchen management and food hygiene control are essential.
You will join and head a talented team of chefs.
You will be responsible for the daily operation in the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all dishes.
It is crucial that you are responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to manage a brigade of talented chefs.
You will be able to train and develop your team supportively and professionally.
What we need from you
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Be able to maintain a high and professional service.
To have proven fine dining experience.
To be from a Michelin or 3 Rosette background.
Have good motivational skills and team management.
Adhere to strict hygiene control throughout the kitchen.
Responsible for stock and cost control, along with achieving GP and budgets.
You will need at least one year’s experience working in a similar role and possess excellent food presentation skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure are key, along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
